Gifts to people that are really close to you need not be the really expensive ones. You just have to think of something that they will really appreciate. 2. Personalize it.
Giving something as mundane as a handkerchief or a T-shirt can be turned into something really unique if you choose to add some personal touches to it. For instance, with handkerchiefs, you can have it monogrammed while T-shirts can be dyed or colored and drawn with fabric paints that are available in art stores in the country.
If you do not have the time or the artistic ability to even attempt to personalize a gift, there are specialty shops in malls that can do that service for you. Another idea is to give a picture frame with a personalized photo of you together or a special picture that your receiver will appreciate.
