POOL PROTECTOR is an electronic monitoring system that automatically sounds an alarm when children or pets fall into your unsupervised pool. POOL PROTECTOR is a portable, self-contained, light weight unit that is safe and simple to operate. Entry into the pool will be detected by the unit’s electronic sensor, triggering a loud pulsating alarm and an internal RF transmitter. The alarm has a LED Indicator which indicates the current status of POOL PROTECTOR.
When you use the pool to swim, the system can be put into the sleep mode. In sleep mode, thanks to the automatic rearming feature, if the alarm detects the pool hasn’t been used for a 100 seconds (if there are no waves), the system will be automatically reactivated and the LED Indicator will flash green.
Once you’ve finished swimming and there are no waves and the pool is calm the POOL PROTECTOR will rearm itself. Only when the pool surface has stood flat for 100 seconds, the system reactivates, and is once again armed.
Installation of the Pool Protector is very easy and fast. It sits on the pool deck as shown in picture. After you install the POOL PROTECTOR, it can’t be de-activated. This is a great feature as it is always in the alarm ready mode and only you can put it into a Sleep Mode. If someone who does not know how to put the swimming pool alarm in sleep mode attempts to remove it, the alarm will sound. The POOL PROTECTOR comes with a remote receiver which can be mounted in your home up to 200 feet from the main unit. It comes with a 12 volt power supply. The POOL PROTECTOR uses one a 9-volt battery (not included) which should last approximately one year. There is a audible low battery indicator which will sound at the poolside alarm and the remote receiver.
This could be the best investment you’ve ever made. Just imagine what could happen if some of the neighborhood children decide to go for a midnight swim at your house. Without any notification something tragic could happen leaving you liable for criminal and civil litigation. What if your own youngster, who can’t swim, accidentally gets too close and falls in.
